As you will have seen on our home page, we have a beautiful photo of three Orangutans. We specifically chose orangutans as they are an iconic species of the rain forests of South East Asia. Orangutans are the closest relatives to humans, having 97% of DNA in common.

Shampoo's Dirty Dozen

Just how safe is commercial shampoo? In this 2-part blog we'll take a look at the ingredients in a popular supermarket shampoo and flag those of concern. Then in the second part, we’ll cover the benefits of using a safe shampoo,  like ours.  Once you know what's in a commercial shampoo you might want to raise awareness among friends and family, so please feel free to share this link.

Presentation to Kotuku Garden Club

Written by Anne on June 10th, 2021.      0 comments

We  had a busy week last week at Happy Horizons. I guess all weeks are busy but this week we fitted a talk to the Kotuku Garden club in. About 60 keen gardeners turned up to hear tales of our garden and some of the plants we grow for Happy Horizons products. This ensures that the botanicals we use are freshly harvested as we need them. They are grown in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, in soils that are lovingly nurtured with permaculture principles. We guarantee that only good things go into our soil and hence our plants.

There were many questions about the products. We had a range of our natural products at the talk and the gardeners were keen to try, before they took off for a well-deserved lunch!

Feedback from a couple of members:

“Thank you for your wonderful presentation and I know our members enjoyed it”

Really enjoyed the talks the other day, which resonated a lot with me”
